THE BIGGER PICTURE
Kane has been a talismanic presence for Bayern since his arrival from Tottenham in 2023. He has plundered 80 goals through 88 appearances in all competitions and is closing in on title glory for 2024-25 – which will see him land a first piece of major silverware.

DID YOU KNOW?
There has been talk of Kane retracing steps to the Premier League, or heading to the United States at some stage, but ex-Bayern midfielder Dietmar Hamann can see one of the most fearsome No.9s in world football sticking around in Germany and emulating Robert Lewandowski in the legendary goalscorer stakes.

WHAT DIETMAR HAMANN SAID
Hamann told : "If Harry carries on the way he is, and continues to be rarely injured, he could play for another four years and score over 100 Bundesliga goals. There aren’t too many players who have achieved that.
"With every season he is always up there in the rankings for goals and at Bayern, they have always had strikers like Robert Lewandowski who scored a lot of goals. Certainly, if he stays here and keep scoring goals then it won’t do his reputation any harm."
