Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce in a deal worth up to £29 million.

On Sunday, United announced the signing of the 20-year-old on a deal until 2030, with the option of an extra year. The wing-back has joined for £25m ($31m/€30m) plus £4m ($5m/€4.8m) in potential bonuses. The young Dane said this was a "special" moment for him, while making an honest admission about head coach Ruben Amorim.

United have been looking for a wing-back for some time due to Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw's injury woes. This has been a troublesome position but the Red Devils will hope Dorgu can solve that problem for Amorim's team.
